Music Lessons Learn to play an instrument!

What we offer:

Atlanta Musicians Exchange offers the following lessons: guitar, drums, bass (electric), banjo, mandolin, ukelele, and all brass/woodwinds.

Our rates:

Our rate is $125 per month for weekly 30 minute lessons (standard rates apply to longer lesson time sessions).

Introductory special:

The introductory offer: AME offers 5 lessons for the price of 4 (for the first month only; thereafter, rate is based on four 30 minute lessons per month).

Our policies:

One cancellation / reschedule is allowed per month. All cancellations/reschedules require a minimum of 24 hour prior notice. Students who don’t call or fail to show up within the 24 hour period will be charged after the first reschedule has been utilized.

Miscellaneous:

Students work one on one with the instructors, during the 30 minute lesson and then review next week’s lesson plan with students and/or parents.

 

 

MUSIC TEACHERS

Casey Kline

Instrument: Guitar

Casey Kline has been teaching at AME for 7 years, beginning in 2017. Casey teaches guitar, bass, ukulele, and beginning drums to students of all ages and all level of experience. He has also been teaching at the School of Rock in Atlanta over 6 years.

Amy Wilson

Instruments: Piano and Flute

Amy Wilson holds a Bachelor of Music degree from West Georgia State University and a Master of Music Education degree from Columbus State University. A former principal flutist in the Atlanta Symphony Youth Orchestra she is certified by the Music Teachers National Association. She has played keyboards, flute and sax with several jazz, rock and blues bands and worked with such artists as “Big Bossman,” Little Jimmy Reed, and Big Bill Morganfield, (son of blues legend Muddy Waters), with whom she appeared on the television program “Good Day Atlanta”. She sings and performs frequently as a piano/vocal soloist at weddings, receptions, parties and other events. She also provides accompaniment for choral concerts and instrumental recitals.

As a member of Georgia Music Teachers Association and the National Guild of Piano Teachers her students will have several opportunities to perform, if they wish. Amy currently teaches 35 piano and flute students, several of whom have won scholarships and earned trophies in talent shows.
