Guitar Repair: Wendell Walker & Joe Hamm

Wendell Walker is the owner of Wendell’s Music located in Marietta, GA and was established in 2019. Wendell has been a luthier and repairing guitars for over 30 years. He also builds guitars under the brand names American Guitar Foundry and Nunez. Joe Hamm has been working alongside Wendell for 4 years and assists with AME guitar repair and setup.

Drum Repair: Mike McKenney

Mike McKenney is the owner of Atlanta Music Exchange. He previously worked as an architect in Atlanta until 2010 when he decided to pursue his passion for musical instruments by forming AME in 2011. He opened the doors in 2012 and has been at this location since then. Mike has extensive knowledge and experience with vintage drums by Ludwig, Gretsch, Rogers, Slingerland and other major brands. With over 40 years of experience in restoring, rewrapping, reworking and reviving vintage drums he has extensive knowledge in his field. Mike has played professionally with Hulapopper from 1994-1998 and the Squirrelheads from 2002 to present.
